Chakra Balancing

Chakras are a way of describing the flow of energy through the body. The word Chakra is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning 'wheel' . Chakras are non-physical energy centres located about an inch away from the physical body and are a way of describing the flow of subtle energy and are often said to be related to the endocrine glands, which the Chakra is thought to influence. The energy field of each Chakra extends beyond the visible body and into the aura. Chakras are the key to restoring balance and harmony. The Chakras are like revolving wheels or spinning vortexes that rotate clockwise, all working in a synchronised way together like the mechanism of a clock, one cog must spin correctly to make the next cog spin correctly, then the next and so on.

Stress and tension can cause the Chakras to lose their ability to synchronise with one another and become unbalanced. By working the Chakras and placing the hands along the axis of the higher Chakras, energy can be realigned and a sense of balance and harmony can be restored.

Your Therapist: Fay Bailey

My background is in Midwifery, Nursing and Teaching, A bit of a scientist, and always a sceptic. Just 13 years ago I was designing and developing the teaching and training needs for 6,500 multidisciplinary staff at a major Hospital Trust. Then one day serious illness struck me down, and I found myself very sick indeed, and with two young children on board

I know this may sound like a cliché but someone took me to a Healer and gradually bit by bit with the help of Reiki and Reflexology I crawled my way back to health. When I got fitter I got back into teaching at a local college very part time. It was then that I answered the call of the Universe and became a Reiki Healer and Reflexologist. I obtained my Reiki Mastership (for the second time) in Egypt and was attuned in the King's Chamber in the Great Pyramid at Giza

I am a Reiki Master Teacher, Advanced Reflexologist, NLP Master Practitioner, Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, a Hopi Ear Candle and Indian Head Massage tutor and therapist.
